So, an update on last weeks meal plan is that… well it didn’t go quite to plan. I’ve been poorly all week, since Monday really, with a horrid buggy virus and chesty cough. I didn’t leave the house from Monday afternoon till Thursday. Then went out for the day, overdid it and ended up back under the duvet all weekend. Feeling sorry for me yet?
I was too poorly to do the weekly shop on Tuesday and thus the meal plan didn’t happen for some of the week as a.) I didn’t have some of the ingredients and b.) I was too drained to stand over a cooker stirring risotto or making a carbonara from scratch. We ended up having two take aways, as healthy as possible but still. Not good!
Not the best start to Slimming World as I also missed my first weigh in. But that’s just made me all the more determined.
So, some of the meals have carried over from last week as you will see. Here’s to a better week this week.

These things happen and it’s not a major setback in the grand scheme of your weight loss journey. Don’t let this make you feel like you are ‘behind’. To choose a healthier takeaway option when you wouldn’t normally have is a success in my book. So well done – onwards and upwards!
