What’s on your MP3?

I saw this over on SAHDandproud‘s blog. Actually mummy has joined in too. I think it originated with Seasider in the city, a blog that I hadn’t come across until this meme, so thanks guys.

Music is really important to our family. All of us love it, in its various guises. My brother is actually quite a famous conductor. My mum a choir mistress. My step dad an organist. My other brother and his wife and my sister-in-law and brother-in-law (hubby’s sister) are all in various choirs and musical societies. Hubby has been in numerous bands. Littlebit is following in the family tradition. She loves, and I mean LOVES her music. When we get in the car if the music isn’t switched on pretty much straight away she starts shouting. She stops the instant the music is turned on. She also jumps up and down in excitement whenever music comes on the telly. Her favourite toys are her instruments.

So music is very important to me. It can lift my mood, wake me up, make me sleepy. I rely on music to get me through the day some days.

So, these are the meme rules: Stick your mp3 player on shuffle and then list the first 5 songs it plays. Simple! Simple yes, but this could be embarrassing. Let’s see then…

You gotta love a bit of Foo’s. The Foo’s are my driving music.

Easy listening. I generally listen to Jamie while I’m cooking.

3. Glee – the music season 1 – Bust your windows

I admit it, I have every single Glee album ever produced. I’m a self confessed Gleek!

4. Michael Buble – Georgia on my mind

Same as Jamie. Cooking music

5. Justin Fletcher Sings Something Special – Incy Wincy Spider
