The Gallery: Bond

My mother and my daughter have a wonderful bond. It is beautiful to see. People comment on it all the time. That’s why I immediately thought of this photo when I saw this weeks “The Gallery” theme.
This was taken on a Mum / Daughter / Grandaughter day out on the Great Central Railway Teddy Bears’ Picnic last year, and is my favourite photo of the two of them.
I consider myself incredibly lucky to have such a supportive Granny for Littlebit (along with Grandad and her other Grandma and Grandad too). They love their time together and it gives me much needed time to work and do the things you can’t do when you have a 2 year old weaving in and out of your legs and demanding your attention.
I love my daughter.
I love my Mum.
I love that they love each other.
I love their bond.

What a lovely selection of pictures. I’ve got very few of my mum with my lot – she doesn’t like having her picture taken – so I’m rather jealous.

What a proud Grandma, they clearly have a truly special relationship.
A beautiful picture. And a lovely post. My father-in-law passed away with asbestosis in 2011, and I never realised what a truly special grandad he was until we lost him. My boys are missing a wonderful man.
